The educational process in terms of its content and technology requires constant updating in accordance with new changes, tasks and challenges that life poses to the renewed Ukrainian school. Improving the educational potential of the modern lesson is not only about making changes to its traditional structure, but also about new approaches to forming ideas about the world, life, its values, and the future of civilization. Innovative technologies greatly contribute to solving these problems. The purpose of the article is to analyze the potential possibilities of using the "six hats" technology in the development of creative thinking and speech abilities of children with special educational needs. To ensure the reliability of the provisions and conclusions, to achieve the goal, a set of research methods was used: theoretical - study, analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization of information on Ukrainian and foreign websites, as well as study of publications in the electronic database Google Scholar. The article provides a theoretical and methodological analysis of the content of scientific definitions: innovative technologies, dyslexia and its factors, a systematic analysis of the possibilities of the "six hats" technology in the formation of thinking and speech of children with special educational needs. The analysis of the technology is considered on the example of working with children with dyslexia in the process of studying children's works by K. Yegorushkina. The study identifies the vectorial potential of the studied methodology, substantiates the need for its application in the process of thinking development of children of this category. The study proves that in order to successfully integrate a child with dyslexia into the social environment, it is necessary to diagnose early the specific aspects of his/her mental development, which significantly complicate the problems in the thinking sphere, in order to implement effective specialized correctional assistance.
