STUDENT PREPARATION SYSTEM FOR EXTERNAL INDEPENDENT ASSESSMENT IN MATHEMATICS

The article raises the problem of preparing high school graduates for external independent assessment (EXA). The purpose of the article is to present the system of training high school graduates for external independent assessment in mathematics. For achieving the goal we used theoretical (study, analysis, and generalization of psychological-pedagogical and methodological literature on the subject of research to determine the conceptual-categorical research apparatus; description of the main classification features of test tasks) and empirical (targeted observation of the educational process; study and generalization of pedagogical experience for justification of the goals and directions of test control of students in mathematics lessons) methods of scientific knowledge. The types of tasks of the external examination in mathematics were analyzed (tasks with the choice of one correct answer from several proposed alternatives, tasks to establish a correspondence, and tasks of an open form with a short and detailed answer (full explanation). The content of preparation for the external examination in mathematics was described. Methodological features of each content line were formulated for the school mathematics course and created reminders for teachers within each content line, which can be used in preparing high school students for the external examination. The ways of preparing for the external examination are distinguished: the introduction of a repetitive and systematizing course or an elective in mathematics (formal education); taking courses with preparation for vocational training on open educational platforms (informal education); working with tutors (informal education). A comparative analysis of training courses for vocational training on open educational resources EdEra, Prometheus, iLearn, "Osvita-online", Academia was carried out. Attention was focused on the phenomenon of tutoring in preparation for external examinations. The interconnection, complementarity, and mutual influence of all three ways of preparing for the external examinations outlined by us in combination with the correct psychological support of all interested parties create an effective system of preparing students for solving the problems of the external examinations in mathematics.
