Abstract

The globalization of the educational space and the rapid development of sports technologies, together with changes in the socio-cultural paradigms of physical education, create new challenges for training specialists in physical culture and sports. The issue of the quality of professional bachelor's and master's training is of particular relevance since they form the basis of the personnel potential of the industry. The purpose of the article is to analyze the professional training of bachelors and masters in the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" in Ukraine to identify the factors that contribute to its non-compliance with the expectations of stakeholders. The complexity of the study lies in the need for a comprehensive analysis of all aspects of professional training - from regulatory frameworks to specific teaching methods, taking into account the dynamics of industry development and international experience between the theoretical training of specialists and the practical requirements of the modern sports market, which requires a strategic rethinking of approaches to professional education. Moving from general theoretical knowledge to forming specific practical competencies is essential for bachelor's training. Master's programs require a fundamentally different approach to developing analytical and managerial qualities. Emphasis should be placed on interdisciplinary research and integrating neurophysiology, biomechanics, and sports management knowledge. A critical component should be the development of project competencies, which will allow masters not only to analyze but also to initiate innovative sports projects. The analysis of international experience indicates the need to create flexible educational trajectories where students can form individual curricula, taking into account future specialization. This is especially true for promising areas such as sports rehabilitation, adaptive fitness for different age groups, esports medicine, and sports facility management.
