Abstract

The article considers the frame approach, which is used for active assimilation of information, which is important for the formation of professional competencies of future specialists. The frame is considered a tool for interpreting information, a carrier of compressed data, and a unit for structuring the content of the educational component. It is emphasized that frames make it possible to design frame structures that are changeable and complementary. Framing (construction of frames, internal and external structural connections between frames, structuring the corresponding content of initial classes) provides a systematization of knowledge and methods of activity by strengthening the connections between individual frames. The practice of using the theory of frames to achieve various educational goals is indicated. The application of the frame method is characterized to form in future graphic designers the skills of using digital technologies (during training in the use of digital technologies that ensure the design activities of a graphic design specialist), a reasonable choice, and use of a system of digital technology tools. It is emphasized that for the practical application of framing, it is necessary to determine the task that must be achieved when applying the method in a specific educational situation, the characteristics of the frame and the principles of its development, the content of the frames, the organizational and pedagogical conditions for implementing the method. The preparation process is summarized, and the steps of developing a frame by a teacher are summarized, which involves defining abstract concepts of the subject area, forming the core (framework) of frames, and defining new formations (nodes) with variable characteristics that contain values important for solving the task. A typology of frames is proposed, which is used when training future graphic designers in using digital technologies (frames based on identity, characteristics, processes, scenarios, and non-identity). The potential for joint activities of teachers and students in developing frames is indicated.
