THE SIGNIFICANCE OF A DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF STUDENTS BY MEANS OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES

The article examines the connection between the modernization of higher education and the use of digital technologies in students training. Digitization is considered as a unity of social, technological, economic, political and cultural mechanisms, the process of using information technologies in any activity. The trend of digitalization of students professional training caused the coverage of humanitarian, methodical and managerial aspects of a new type of education: open education, the formation of the content of which is based on the creation of banks of free information modules, which is the basis of new educational courses design. The principles of implementation of open education are specified. The problem of creating an innovative digital educational environment of a higher education institution as an open set of information systems designed to provide various tasks of professional training, taking into account the principles of updating the content of future graphic designers professional training, is emphasized. The relevance of e-learning as a means of implementing open education within the framework of the construction of a digital educational environment is indicated. The differences between the digital educational environment and the information system are emphasized. Functional and content characteristics, classification groups (author's software developments, learning management systems, content management systems) of e-learning tools are provided. The criteria for choosing a software product that is relevant for solving specific tasks, the principles of using e-learning tools (principles of visual learning, adaptability, interactivity and distribution of educational material, multimedia representation, implementation of creative ideas using digital technologies) and the principles of building a digital educational environment for students professional training (unity, openness, accessibility, competitiveness, responsibility, sufficiency, usefulness) are characterized.
