MODERNIZATION OF THE CONTENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING OF FUTURE MASTERS IN ECONOMICS THROUGH THE PRISM OF INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC INTEGRATION

The article examines the modernization of foreign language training for future master’s students of economics under conditions of digital transformation and international academic integration. It argues that English in economic education functions not only as a means of communication but also as a tool for professional analysis, market research, and presentation of academic findings in the global educational arena. The theoretical framework integrates works by Ukrainian and international scholars in the fields of English for Specific Purposes (ESP), digital pedagogy, intercultural communication, and AI ethics. At the empirical level, a survey was conducted among master’s students in economics to identify their learning needs and attitudes toward the integration of digital technologies in language education. The results revealed the extensive use of English-language economic platforms (Bloomberg, Coursera, Statista) alongside the growing need to develop critical thinking, academic integrity, and digital etiquette. Based on these findings, an updated course structure titled “English for Specific Purposes (Economics)” was designed, integrating linguistic, analytical, and digital components. The study concludes that the modernized course enhances the competitiveness of economics graduates, fostering their intercultural interaction, analytical competence, and readiness for participation in global research and business projects. The obtained results are of practical significance for updating university curricula, improving pedagogical models, and developing digital resources to enhance foreign language competence in economic education.
