ESSENCE AND STRUCTURE OF RESEARCH COMPETENCE BACHELOR FROM AGRARIAN SCIENCES IN THE PROCESS OF STUDYING MATHEMATICAL DISCIPLINES

Abstract

The article defines and theoretically substantiates the essence and structure of the research competence of bachelors in agricultural sciences in the process of studying mathematical disciplines. The structural components of research competence were determined: the motivational component, which is the basis on which the research qualities of a future agricultural specialist are built, which implies the ability to properly organize and distribute one’s work in time, see the perspective of work, its successive stages and determine the basic needs for professional activity and creative thinking of agricultural production specialists; a cognitive component that characterizes knowledge of scientific research methods, mathematical methods of cognition, methods of statistical data analysis; a cognitive component that characterizes knowledge of scientific research methods, mathematical methods of cognition, methods of statistical data analysis, namely the ability to analyze, synthesize, abstract, generalize; practical-activity component, which reflects the readiness of a specialist agrarian in practical action to use the system of acquired knowledge, skills in the process of their own research activities, the ability to organize research activities in practice, it is manifested by the presence of skills and abilities to search, analyze, highlight and generalize scientific information, applying the acquired knowledge in practice, namely in the course of organizing and conducting an experiment, solving problematic professionally oriented tasks, carrying out the necessary calculations, as well as presenting and substantiating the results of the study; the reflexive-prognostic component reflects reflexive-evaluative activity and provides for analysis, self-analysis of the effectiveness of research activity, which requires critical thinking, value judgments, examination of the quality of one's own research, its comprehension, reflection and correction of the results of research activity and reflects the ability to generalize and predict professional activity.
