Abstract

The article considers the method of problem-based learning as one of the means for maintaining interactive learning and learning a foreign language and culture. The given examples of exercises for each of the three problematic situations serve as a basis to assert the effectiveness of the method in the formation of linguistic and linguo-socio-cultural skills and foreign language communication skills. The method of problem-based learning is defined as a powerful type of organization of the educational process according to the subject-subject model of pedagogical relationship during independent work.

A scheme for applying the method of problem-based learning is outlined, covering pedagogical and psychological problem situations. The professional literature on the issue of innovation in the process of formation of intercultural foreign language communicative competence has been analyzed. Scientific exploration was carried out in the context of the effectiveness of the use of innovative methods and technologies for teaching and learning a foreign language and culture. The features of the application of problem situations are studied and the advantages of solving problems in the performance of tasks are noted.

Using the method of problem-based learning provides a practical lesson in the German language of innovative characteristics, creativity, which contributes to productive independent group, individual work. Examples of conditional communicative, communicative exercises, compiled on the basis of the problem-based learning method, are illustrated. The article presents the process of formation of cognitive and cognitive skills of master's students. Educational methods, methods of control and communicative situations are indicated, the relevance of which corresponds to the innovative technology of skill formation and skillful intercultural foreign language communicative competence.

The presented practical material can serve for its further implementation in the educational process of future teachers of the German language. The study is based on personal-activity, competence-activity approaches to mastering the intercultural communicative competence of the German language.
