SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES TO THE STUDY OF THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF UNIVERSITY EDUCATION IN POLAND (XX - EARLY XXI CENTURY)

The article analyzes the scientific approaches to studying the establishment and development of university education in Poland from the 20th century to the early 21st century. In the context of globalization and technological innovations that significantly impact educational systems, the importance of comparative analysis is becoming increasingly relevant. The Polish higher education system has undergone numerous transformations, making it necessary to conduct a detailed study of its strengths and weaknesses, as well as its adaptation to international standards.
The research emphasizes that modern comparative education aims to describe educational systems, develop educational structures and practices, uncover the relationships between education and society, and identify patterns that may be useful for reforming educational systems. The article examines three main types of comparative research: descriptive studies, developmental studies, and analytical studies of relationships and processes.
The author highlights the importance of analyzing national educational systems in the context of global trends, particularly the study of the impact of international educational standards, such as the Bologna Process, on the Polish education system. The article also explores the stages of development of university education in Poland, from the interwar period to the present, when Polish universities are actively integrating into the international educational space.
The conclusions of the research indicate that university education in Poland is undergoing significant changes that require comprehensive analysis considering both historical and contemporary contexts. Future research prospects include a deeper analysis of the impact of globalization on the adaptation of Polish higher education to international standards, as well as examining the role of innovative technologies in the educational process. This will allow for the formation of new educational strategies that take into account the specifics of the Polish higher education system and its integration into the European educational space.
