The article examines the issues of motivating the adult population to physical fitness and health activities, in particular through the use of mobile applications. In the context of low physical activity in modern society, accompanied by an increase in morbidity caused by a sedentary lifestyle, finding effective tools to encourage activity becomes an important task. Regular physical exercise is key to improving health, preventing chronic diseases and improving quality of life. The results of the study show that mobile applications for monitoring physical activity have a significant impact on user motivation. In particular, fitness apps help to form and maintain healthy habits through the functions of activity monitoring, setting personalized goals and feedback. It has been established that men and women have certain differences in the benefits of using apps. Men more often choose programs focused on developing endurance and strength indicators, while women prefer complex apps aimed at maintaining overall tone, nutrition and weight control. Also, according to the study, people who use applications demonstrate a higher level of motivation for physical activity than those who do not use them, in particular, for improving health, improving mood, relieving fatigue and increasing performance. Thus, mobile applications are an effective tool for motivating the adult population to physical education and health activities. Thanks to the ability to control achievements, reminders about training and interactive functions, applications provide an additional incentive for regular physical activity, contribute to the strengthening of health and improving the well-being of users.
