CONCEPTUAL AND TERMINOLOGICAL APPARATUS OF PEDAGOGICAL INNOVATIONS

Innovative pedagogical activity needs attention within the framework of research in the field of pedagogical innovation. However, this direction has yet to be fully formed in Ukrainian pedagogy as a separate branch of pedagogical knowledge. Some domestic scientists consider certain aspects of general pedagogical innovation and define specific categories of this science, but there has yet to be a comprehensive approach. It is necessary to study the conceptual and terminological apparatus more deeply to structure and analyze innovative processes in pedagogy and determine their impact on the educational system and pedagogical practice. The article aims to provide a comprehensive analysis and generalization of the results of scientific research by Ukrainian and foreign scientists regarding the main provisions of pedagogical innovation. It considers various approaches and theories to understand the essence of key concepts, ensuring a thorough and detailed examination of the subject matter. Scientific research uses theoretical methods such as analysis, comparison, and classification. That was done to analyze the scientific, pedagogical, and special literature to determine the conceptual apparatus of modern innovation and systematized approaches to defining the main research concepts. The analysis of scientific and methodological literature regarding the definition of the key concepts of innovation has confirmed the complexity of this research problem. Various scientific approaches to interpreting the concept of «innovation» have been revealed. The analysis of psychological-pedagogical and methodical literature, along with a significant volume of scientific works devoted to the introduction of innovations in the field of education, has allowed us to determine the state of the investigated problem and to clarify the essence of the basic concepts of scientific research, namely: «innovation,» «novation,» «innovation,» «innovative process,» «innovative activity.»
