Non-verbal children who do not have developed communicative and speech skills face significant difficulties in the process of socialization, which negatively affects their further development, education and integration into society. The lack of speech in preschool age complicates the formation of cognitive activity, emotional-volitional sphere and interpersonal relationships, which requires timely and comprehensive corrective intervention from specialists. Effective assistance at the early stages allows you to prevent secondary complications, promotes the development of alternative methods of communication and the gradual formation of speech activity.
One of the most promising areas of speech therapy practice is the use of "speech launch" technologies. These technologies are a set of techniques, methods and integrated programs aimed at stimulating speech activity in children with severe speech disorders (SSD), in particular with motor, sensory and sensorimotor alalia, SNM, MMD, etc. They are based on a systemic and holistic approach, which involves combining the development of cognitive processes, sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, and emotional and communicative spheres. In speech correction work, an important place is occupied by the creation of conditions for the formation of primary vocalizations, the activation of non-verbal means of communication, the development of articulation and respiratory motor skills, as well as the introduction of elements of play therapy, music therapy, and sensory technologies. Despite a significant number of scientific and practical developments, the problem of choosing the most effective technologies for “launching speech” and adapting them to the individual needs of the child remains relevant. This necessitates further research, systematization of existing methods, and development of models for integrating speech therapy technologies into the modern educational and rehabilitation space. The expected result is to increase the effectiveness of speech correction assistance, expand children’s opportunities in the field of communication, and ensure their successful inclusion in the social environment.
