FOSTERING ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET IN STUDENTS DURING MATHEMATICS LESSONS IN PRIMARY AND BASIC SCHOOL

One of the main tasks of a teacher in the conditions of implementing the Concept of the New Ukrainian School is to create an effective learning environment for the formation of key and subject competencies of students. Currently, the excessive fascination of mathematics teachers with "decorating" mathematics lessons with game elements, bright visual aids, and other "effects" can be observed, somewhat lowering the place and role of problem-solving in mathematics education. This article discusses the place and role of a special problem-solving process as one of the effective methods for fostering an entrepreneurial mindset in students during mathematics lessons.
The authors' many years of experience in teaching mathematics to students, analysis of scientific and methodological literature, and modeling of situations were used.
The entrepreneurial mindset is viewed as a personal quality that manifests itself in the ability to investigate, analyze, generate ideas, and seek and find solutions to problematic situations. To foster the entrepreneurial mindset in students during mathematics lessons, we explain the importance of arousing positive emotions in students during problem-solving. One of the methods tested by us is the systematic presentation by the teacher of specially selected super-tasks in each mathematics lesson. With the help of specially selected "super-problems," the teacher can create effective conditions for fostering the entrepreneurial mindset in students. If the method we propose is used - there should be at least one super-task in each lesson, then it is worth organizing the students' execution of a research project "The Best Super-Task." This article proposes the appropriate author's development of a Tournament of Super-Tasks for students.
A positive attitude of students toward learning mathematics is an important prerequisite for fostering and demonstrating entrepreneurship. The proposed scenario of the Super-Task Tournament is an original set of necessary conditions for developing entrepreneurship in students. The aim of future research is to develop a step-by-step methodology for fostering entrepreneurship in students through the process of learning mathematics in school.
